Can you believe what actually happened?
On sunday I started my 3 days of night shift, and enjoyed my day in USS with boy on my sleeping day.
I was scheduled to work evening shift right after my sleeping day on thursday and friday, which is today, i'm starting my 11 days straight of AL.
Now what happened yesterday was that, first I was freaking dread to go to work because I had sleeping day, then back to work for one day, and then comes my 11 days of working. I was asked to be a photographer on a yacht for a friend who needs to island hop and needed those photos for his business. I pushed away the great opportunity and proceed to work instead.
Boy then decided to meet me for breakfast right before work, which enlightened me much more to go to work. When I reached work, to realized 2 colleagues on sick leave. I was asked to be in-charge for 6 patients. Well, not that bad. But at 2pm, my patient suddenly collapse and everyone was actively resuscitating him. It happened right at the start of work, and subsequently, things at work hasn't been in a peace.
I had 3 transferred in cases which one I had to transfer to another room in the end. It was really hectic that for once I regretted not taking a FAKE mc. But then again, I learnt many things during the rushed hours. Though I exceeded the working hours and only left ward at 2345hrs, I'm glad I made my way and get things completed.
I was dead beat at the end of the day. And right now, enjoying every part of my 11 days of annual leave. How great... first to bitterness, then now comes sweetness...
:)
Boy put in a lot of effort for his exam,
and seeing him stressed over it for the past 4 weeks, hurts me.
He told me to bring him for some excitement after his exams.
And making sure promises aren't broken,
I made 2 tickets to USS!!!
It was a surprise gift for him.
Made him guess his way through until we reach harbour front station,
and reveal where we are heading to.
Took RWS8 into USS.
And comes all the exciting rides.
Enter to the first session of USS- Madagascar.
<3
and we took our first ride.
more rides in between when I realised many of them restrict photography,
and I was lazy to get my camera in and out of my bag.
so for some parts,
no photos taken at all.
took this mummies ride.
before that, we went to the one in darkness.
I screamed at the top of my voice,
and accidentally bite my own lips.
the worst rides of all.
I know I can never make it through Galatica.
And boy didn't want to take the ride alone,
and both of us gave up on that heart-ripped-out ride.
but for the sample feel, i get him to sit on the display seat.
hahaha...
after watching 'Madagascar Crate Adventure', imma in love with Ginger Breadman..!!!
my ginger BIG man...
Mr. President wannabe. :)
simply in love with this car.
cool huh...
and both of us ended up getting arrested.
:(
oh my sexy Betty Boop.
i <3 her.
(love her underpants too.)
wahahhahhhahhhaha...
see that touching look, for getting a
'Best Husband award'.
and me?
'Best Sweetheart Award'..
YAY~~!!!!
know what happen? after taking photo with this naughty duck,
he wants to snatch me away from boy.
it was real hilarious.
see his hand on my waist?
we were walking off together like a couple after that...
hahahahaha..
(and thanks to boy who helped me shoot this photo...)
AHHHHH~~~!!
the penguin in madagascar...
Basically, both of us suddenly goes back to 10years ago,
being just 13 years old.
playing and laughing and snapping.
it was really lotsa fun and more photos are in FB.
glad that boy love this surprise i prepared for him.
it's just so awesome.
I hope that next time we come here again,
would be with our kids,
bringing them here to enjoy every moments once again, as a family.
:)
After a long day playing and having fun,
we were all starved.
So dinner at 'Chilis' was another awesomely experience.
They served the BEST Classic Margaritas.
and the serving was pretty big.
lucky boy and I shared one main together,
and left chilis with a full and smiley tummy.
:)
Last night, Sis and I invited our partners back home for family steamboat with momsie. It's almost after 4 years, that boy finally stepped into my house. All appreciation goes to Sis, who came out with this idea of steamboat with momsie and bringing our boyfriends back for her to 'see'.
Mom always have the thought that our home is visually messy and not presentable for relatives, or even friends to come in for visits. And that's the only one reason, since young, we are forbidden to bring friends back home to play or even for project and stuff. But over the years, we have helped to tidy up those mess and now home can be presentable.
The steamboat session went successful. Boy brought home a can of Aussie abalone and a home-made dessert. While Siwei, Sis's boy, created his favourite chili, prepared the food and bought some canned dessert. Sis's friend, Peiwen and boyfriend joined us soon after. And completed the fulfilling dinner by 9pm.
Boy, being a boardgame collector, brought games like monopoly and UNO and played with everyone. Including momsie. The interaction went on till late night with boy chatting with mom, and Sis, Siwei and I discussing about camera stuff. And by 12am, BFs left.
I know Boy had a great time spending time with mom. It's a rare chance for him and opportunity grabbed. I believe now the ice is broke, many opportunity will come soon. :)
Yesterday both of us were bored strolling in town after watching 'Horrible Bosses'.
Boy came out with an idea to kill time,
which we spent the rest of our days doing the craziest thing in town.
Used to watch those Taiwan Variety shows showing 'food search'.
Boy came out with an idea of playing 'Food Search' in town.
Both of us came out with a few local dishes,
and started drawing lots to see what dish we should start with...
Rules of the game:
-to complete the whole game within 2 and half hours.
-barget within $20-$30
-never eat the next food from the same place.
-to finish up every little thing of the food.
So we started with...
Tom Yum Soup at Meridien hotel.
tom yum souP--- Peach Yogurt at PS.
peach yogurT--- Turkey breast meat at POMO cold storage.
turkey breast meaT---Tropical citrus vitamin water from Paradise Mall 7-eleven.
Tropical citrus vitamin wateR---Red dragonfruit juice at bugis street.
After completed 5 dishes...
it's time to reveal the last dish that we need to eat.
And of course, linking to the last food in alphabet...
We picked Oyster Mee-Sua as our last dish...
The search continues...
Red dragonfruit juiceE--Ebiko sushi at parco bugis cold storage
Ebiko sushI--Ice teh-o at bras basah coffeeshop.
Ice teh-O-- Oyster Mee SUA!!!!!!
at marina square...
We have completed our task within the set rules.
We walked from Orchard to Marina Square.
Eating and laughing, and thinking what next dish should be linked to.
Spending total of $25 altogether...
We hated ice teh-o the most.
it was the most horrible drink i've ever had in life.
not fogetting the superb tomyum soup and the turket breast.
Started at 1530hrs. And completed our food search by 1845hrs.
This is the craziest thing I've did at town.
Trying all kinds of food along our way...
And we name this: Food Search (Central).
We shall go to east, west, north, south... for food search...
I enjoyed my off days. especially with him around.
:)
xoxo.
